So, where to eat out tonight? Well, you could do a lot worse than head over to our all-time favourite, L’Ecailler in La Flotte. Get a babysitter for the kids, make sure you are ’sur ton trente-et-un’ (looking good!) and don’t forget the ‘carte bleue’ (ye trusty credit card). L’Ecailler is a tad on the expensive side, but well worth it. The surroundings are cosy, the service is unfailingly attentive and the cuisine is - well, a joy! Not to be missed. Remember to reserve.
